If you don’t quit, you win. Some give up and refuse to continue, due to the false belief that it is too hard. Also they fail to press into God and rely on his strength.
When you fall, get back up and keep going. Persist, listen to and believe God’s promises. Do not give up! You are a winner! God declares it. Agree with him! Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and continue!
As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.
