Evil cannot be covered up by painting it another color. Even if a house looks good on the outside, it can still have evil inside.

The removal of evil happens when we repent (change mind and purpose of how we live, have a hatred of the sin, turning to God). Our way of thinking must change from evil deeds. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from sin, when applied. We can have our mind renewed as we read the Word of God and focus on pleasing him.

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil,learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor.
