Boost for the day
Don’t let the appearance of an obstacle create an atmosphere for failure, rather convert stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Life’s battle don’t always go to the stronger or faster man but sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.
Know that people come into your life experience for a reason, recognise and acknowledge the importance of everyone you meet weather in good or bad encounter. But in the process remember, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
How we spend our time investing it or wasting it can determine our level of success. You waste time when you spend it in unproductive endeavour or with unproductive people but naturally the result of investing time wisely in productive endeavour brings you a sense of return on the investment.

Don’t allow trials to control your mind

Mosrt times when trials come our way, we forget what God has said about us or what He has permitted us to see through His grace.
”Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
But John forbad Him, saying, I have need to be baptized of Thee and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness.Then he suffered Him
And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightaway out of the water and lo, the heavens were opened unto Him and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him.
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” – Matthew 3 : 13 – 17.
John the Baptist had this experience with Jesus. He knew quite right that He is the Son of God. He was opportuned by the grace of God to have such experience but when trials came, what happened? God knows what our strength can take..He know us better than we know ourselves no matter what we think about ourselves.
”Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said unto Him, art thou He that should come, or do we look for another?
Jesus answered and said unto them, go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see” – Matthew 11: 2 – 4.
Since The Lord did not go for his rescue, his thought about Jesus changed. He forgot the experience he had with Him.
Brethren, many of us are like that today. God, through His grace will do the impossible which we think that there is no way out. When little more trials comes our way, we will forget the great and numerous things that He has done before, We will forget that He is in the same place He was, when the first trial came to us, we will forget that He was in the same place when Jesus Christ was arrested, tried, crucified, died, buried and resurrected. He never change position because His love is constant. It is only we that change our position.
May He give us the grace to keep on tyrusting Him no matter the trials we are passing through in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
